In this assignment we had to create a spreadsheet to see how they can be used to determine and investor’s profits or shortages from the purchase and sale of stocks. To complete this assignment we had to use cell formatting, cell shading, formulas, AutoFill, AutoSum, and header and footer. I learned how the use of Excel can help you calculate and determine the gains and losses of stocks and how to use new technology systems. In this assignment I was able to format and shade cells, use formulas, AutoFill and AutoSum well. If I was to complete this assignment again I would try to improve by getting a better understanding of the header and footer, and how it is formatted in Excel compared to Word.

In this assignment we had to copy in exam grades to find averages, total numbers of tests, and maximums and minimums of the averages. In this assignment we inserted formulas, and used AutoFill. By creating this document I accomplished a better understanding of AutoFill and how to use formulas to calculate averages and to count cells. In this assignment I was able to quickly enter the information, answer the questions, and use the count formulas. If I was to do this assignment again I would ensure that I read all the directions and turned the paper over to be sure I understand what the directions in the assignment are saying clearly.
Pie Chart Project
In this assignment we had to work in groups to create a presentation and Excel activity to teach the class about making charts. My group received the pie charts. We used excel insert chart, format, layout, and design charts, and the Microsoft Power Point and Word formatting. By creating this piece of work I was able to learn about how to format and create charts in Microsoft Excel and how to teach your peers about creating your type of chart. In this assignment I was able to use the resources given to us to learn how to create the pie chart and change it to my liking. If I was to redo this assignment I would practice with my group more to ensure that everyone knows how to do the assignment without a second thought.
Excel 50-Yacht Mortgage
In this assignment we had to use the payment (“PMT”) formula to calculate yacht mortgages. To complete this assignment we had to use the “PMT” formula, borders, AutoFill, Series, and formatting. I learned how to use Excel to easily calculate payments such as mortgages. In this assignment I was able to format the document easily and quickly use the AutoFill and series functions. If I was to do this assignment again I would learn more about what the payment function can do besides mortgages.
